As a Site Survey Technician II, you will play a key role in the site survey department, demonstrating the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight. You will perform your duties with professionalism and efficiency, relying on your expertise to execute responsibilities without immediate supervision from a Senior Site Survey Technician III or team management.
Essential Job Functions
- Demonstrate expertise in the field survey process, including data collection and timely upload of survey results.
- Utilize ladders, operate at heights, and handle hand tools proficiently and safely.
- Uphold rigorous safety standards, ensuring full compliance with company protocols and industry regulations.
- Execute drone flights to capture high-quality imagery for project documentation.
- Conduct thorough project assessments, including roof, electrical, structural, and general property evaluations, ensuring all relevant details are gathered.
- Identify and document existing site conditions that may require additional work or scope modifications.
- Record and communicate customer inquiries or concerns to facilitate prompt follow-up actions.
- Identify and notate potential safety hazards observed during site surveys.
- Process and organize drone imagery, ensuring accurate representation of site conditions.
- Maintain professional and effective communication with survey leadership, cross-departmental teams, and welcome call representatives.
- Engage with customers professionally, providing clear information and addressing their needs.
- Regularly review schedules to ensure on-time completion of surveys and adherence to deadlines.
- Consistently exhibit ethical behavior and professionalism in all interactions.
- Demonstrate flexibility by being available to work a weekend day as required by business needs.
- Conduct quality control reviews of survey deliverables, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission.

Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Practical experience in roofing, electrical work, or general construction.
- Familiarity with residential electrical and roofing standards.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software is preferred.
- Possession of a Part-107 Pilot License (Drone License) is a plus.
Physical Demands

- Ability to work in a variety of extreme environmental conditions (e.g., high heat, cold temperatures).
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs, and work on rooftops of multi-level buildings, as well as within confined spaces such as attics.
- While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly be required to speak and hear. The role frequently requires standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50-70 pounds.
- The employee will occasionally need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Vision requirements include the ability to focus at close and long distances, distinguish colors, maintain peripheral awareness, perceive depth, and make precise focus adjustments.
