Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to lead efforts in financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven reporting. This role will be instrumental in shaping our strategic financial planning by developing robust models, building scalable reporting processes, and ensuring accurate and actionable financial insights. You’ll work cross-functionally to drive planning rigor, support executive decision-making, and enhance our data infrastructure to improve financial visibility across the organization.

This position is hybrid and will be located in one of our Centers of Excellence: New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Denver, CO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and long-range forecasting
  • Partner with business leaders to understand operational trends and incorporate them into financial models and forecast
  • Help lead the structure and governance of FP&A data, including model inputs, assumptions, and version control across planning tools and spreadsheets
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to improve financial data infrastructure, automate reporting, and ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Design and manage dashboards and recurring reports to track KPIs, variances, and financial performance versus plan
  • Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from forecast and inform leadership of underlying trends
  • Support budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting cycles with clear insights and forward-looking analysis
  • Continuously improve modeling accuracy, forecasting processes, and data workflows to drive efficiency and insight

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis, ideally with exposure to technology or product-driven businesses
  • Solid understanding of key financial statements, forecasting methods, and variance analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Jedox) a strong plus
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Primary responsibilities involve regular speaking, listening, standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, and reaching with arms.
  • Occasionally, the role may require sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees must be able to frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include the ability to focus at close and long distances, distinguish colors, maintain peripheral awareness, perceive depth, and make precise focus adjustments.

Base Salary
$70,000—$90,000 USD
