Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cloud architect to join our team at PosiGen. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for innovative cloud-based solutions and will be responsible for designing, planning, managing, and implementing highly scalable cloud architectures. Also, maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and software applications that meet our organizational needs. You will work closely with other technology experts and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of cloud solutions.

Essential Job Functions

  • Design and implement cloud-based architectures that are scalable, resilient, and highly available.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure they are reflected in the cloud architectures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on cloud-based solutions, including design documents, deployment guides, and best practices.
  • Work with Salesforce and DevOps teams to ensure best practices are followed in cloud-based environments, including security, performance, and availability.
  • Provide technical guidance to teams on cloud-based architectures, services, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud-based applications with existing systems.
  • Lead efforts to support and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify and assess potential vulnerabilities in cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
  • Conduct security assessments to identify and prioritize risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze logs and systems to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Design disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) plans to mitigate the impact of outages, data loss, and other disruptions to business operations.
  • Be available 24/7 after hour rotation support.

Education/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cloud environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure, M365, Exchange, Okta, Google, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
  • Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
  • Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems as well as support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
  • Experience using ticketing system.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for technology and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.

Base Salary
$125,000—$130,000 USD
